S3d is a french cleantech company developing and marketing equipment which enables on-site processing and energy recovery of organic waste. S3d offers “turnkey” waste recycling equipment in view of producing energy. Through an innovative process named Valorfat®, the company enables animal fat to be converted into biofuel. The latter may then be used in a cogeneration diesel engine to produce electricity and heat. Tests on the demonstrator are conclusive, and the efficiency rate remains close to that obtained with diesel fuel while NOx and particle emissions are reduced by 80%.

Europlasma is a french company founded in 1992 by two former employees of Aerospatiale, Didier Pineau and Maxime Labrot, to develop commercial applications for plasma technology in the field of waste processing. Today, the Company is a leading European innovator in the field of vitrification of hazardous waste materials, such as toxic ashes and asbestos, utilizing plasma fusion applications. Europlasma business activities comprise of designing and manufacturing plasma torches, waste treatment facilities and supplying services operators of vitrification units.

Methaneva is a french innovative company, founded in May 2006 with the support of the incubator Midi-Pyrenees. The company is specialised in methanization units and biogas and is conducting audits, feasibility studies. It has developed original techniques for treatment of biogas and now promotes its expertise in the utilization of biogas from three priority sectors involved : agriculture, agri – food , communities (treatment plants, central landfill).

Exosun is french manufacturer and general contractor in the solar tracking market. Founded in June 2007 in Martillac (Gironde) by Frédéric Conchy, Dominique Rochier and Jean-Noël de Charentenay, Exosun designs, develops and produces turnkey photovoltaic or thermal solar power plants equipped with innovative solar tracking systems.
